Before advanced excision and fertility-preserving surgery comes the foundation: knowing your anatomy, your tower, your instruments, and your hands. The Putrajaya Fundamental Laparoscopic Workshop is built for trainees and medical officers taking their first deliberate steps into minimal-access gynaecology — structured teaching by day, box-trainer practice in your hands.
Run by Hospital Putrajaya, the Ministry of Health's premier centre for advanced laparoscopic training, this course is the entry point to the same pathway our advanced congress builds on. Get the fundamentals right, and everything above them becomes possible.
Day one builds the mental model — anatomy, tower, instruments. Day two puts a scope in your hand for the core gynaecological procedures.
⚠ Provisional outline. Topics and sequence will be finalised by the faculty closer to the date.
Pricing and registration open soon. Seats on a hands-on course are limited by station capacity — register early once it opens.
A look back at last year's workshop — the teaching, the stations, the hands-on energy you can expect in 2027.
The heart of the course. Rotate through box-trainer stations and build the motor skills that lectures alone can't teach — under direct faculty supervision.
